My Story…
This is my 7th annual Miles for Migraine walk.
Migraine advocacy is super close to my heart, which is why I keep walking year after year. In college I started struggling with headaches here and there, which quickly developed into battling chronic daily migraines. It took quite a toll on my physical and mental health, and it’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone to experience.
There were years where I felt like I was just getting by. I missed out on so many things that once brought me joy like concerts, movies, drinks with friends… anything that felt normal for someone my age.
Things are better now, and I finally feel like I have my life back. I’m beyond grateful for some of the newer treatments that have significantly improved my quality of life after years of daily pain.
My hope is to give others going through this a little hope. I got my life back, and I want them to know that things can and will get better too. Please take a second to share this link, donate if you can, or join me for the event! Your support truly means the world to me.
