My Story…

As CCG, 21st Century Pop Superhero, I packed "Girl Power Pop"  on 500+ radio stations & 30+ CDs Internationally. ROLLING STONE called CCG "Nashville's Version of Fiona Apple."  (http://PopSuperhero.com)

After a STAGE ACCIDENT in 2006, I was left disabled, in a WHEELCHAIR, due to severe neck and head injuries, in addition to living with  Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Fibromyalgia. I slowly, and painfully, learned to do many things over again, including walking, over the next 5-6 years.  In 2012, I found a new passion to pursue and began acting in short films (http://NEActor.com/profile/lynnjulian). Residing in Boston's Back Bay, I am very involved in local film projects and fundraisers.

On 4.15.2013, I survived the BOSTON MARATHON ATTACK, escaping with frontal lobe brain injury, chronic low back injury, hearing loss, extreme tinnitus and severe Complex PTSD. I trained to run, for the 1st time, struggling with daily, severe, chronic pain and panic attacks. I finished the 2014 Boston Marathon, and was named Most Resilient by MORE MAGAZINE, http://more.com/health/i-didnt-know-i-had-it-me?page=2.

As a survivor, of TBI and terrorism, I live with Chronic Migraine, SUNCT and Daily Headaches, and volunteer for related foundations: American Migraine Foundation, (Ambassador/Advocate), Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy (Advocate/ Team Leader for Headache On The Hill), US Pain Foundation (Massachusetts Ambassador), Health Union (writer) and Strength To Strength (Advisory Panel). My message is one of INSPIRATION and HOPE. I fought my way out of that wheelchair, and I fought my way across that finish line.  If I can do it, so can you. Never give up HOPE!

Strength Through Unity,

Lynn Julian
